If you can't beat 'em, join 'em

Well, since the lousy weather and full moon has been keeping me from doing anything astronomical, I guess I'll have to go with something meteorological.

I haven't done any time-lapse work in a while, so here's a quickie from April 2nd. I originally wanted to capture the sunset at Sugar Grove, but the clouds and incoming cold front had different ideas. So I got whatever I could.

This was shot with my Canon XSi and 28-105 zoom, set to 28mm. ASA 400, Aperture Priority f/4.0.

264 frames were taken with GBTimeLapse, one every 10 seconds, and combined in Virtual Dub at 20 fps. About 40 minutes real time condensed to 13 seconds.
